Phase 0 is the research and scoping work that happens before any real building begins — validating the idea, defining the problem, mapping the architecture, writing the spec. It can take weeks or months. Every concept at Groundwork Labs has already completed Phase 0. You start at Phase 1: building.
Each concept is rated across four skill levels: Beginner, Beginner + AI, Intermediate, and Advanced. The rating reflects how much effort it would take someone at that level to build and launch the concept. More bars means more effort required. This is about buildability — not a judgment on your abilities.
